Self Coloured Nails are also referred to as a Flat Point Nail. This nail is traditionally used for face-nail flooring and framing in UK & Ireland. These traditional nails are also commonly used for external restoration work and used on Oak Timber Frame Buildings. The flat point nail is manufactured in the traditional way as our rose head nails.

The self coloured nails are cut from sheet steel same as the traditional cut nail. The larger self coloured nail features a long tapered shank and a rounded Rose Head. 

Please be aware that when used externally these rosehead flat point nails will be prone to grey staining and bleeding, especially when used in oak.
